Graphene and 2D Nano-Materials Self-Assembly

Graphene and 2D nanomaterials, such as transition metal dichalcogenides(TMDCs) MXene, are atomically thin plane geometry materials. Self-assembly of nanoscale building blocks via controlling the surface energy and physical/chemical/electrical properties induces multi-functional hybrid nanostructures like macro-/micro-porous 3D structures, uniform large-area thin films, quasi-parallel hydrogels. We are investigating the mechanism of 3D nanoscale molecular assembly and applying it to advanced technologies such as electronic/energy storage devices, catalysis, EMI shielding, sensors and etcs.
